Little Makeup Lovers was founded in 2016 by a mum of three young girls with big imaginations and an even bigger love for makeup. Like many little ones, they adored rummaging through Mum’s makeup drawer—smearing lipsticks, cracking palettes, and creating colourful (and messy!) masterpieces.

While their creativity was something to be celebrated, it became clear that letting them play with expensive, grown-up makeup wasn’t sustainable. That’s when the idea for Little Makeup Lovers was born—a range of pretend makeup made just for kids, designed to spark imagination and creativity without the mess or the worry.

Starting from home, with her daughters as the very first product testers, she launched a collection of beautifully designed pretend makeup that looked and felt real—but without any actual product. Each item was created to support creative role play and self-expression, giving little ones the joy of "getting ready" just like Mum, in a safe and magical way.

The response was immediate and heartfelt. Parents loved having a mess-free alternative, and kids were thrilled to have a makeup collection all their own. What started as a small home business quickly grew into a trusted brand loved by families across Australia and beyond.

At Little Makeup Lovers, every product is designed to help children imagine, create, and learn—all while keeping things clean and fun. And because there’s no real makeup inside, the fun never has to end.
